Halmo specialises in digitally printed, plexiglass works of art that can be easily installed to your wall. Due to the distinctive, clear properties of the 5mm deBeers transparent plexiglass used in the production process, super fine detail and colour accuracy are preserved.
The technique is relatively new and allows Halmo to create 3 different layers of transparency in each design. This provides the best contrast between the subject matter in the foreground and the background, bringing your artwork's silhouette to life.
Halmo is located in Romagna, a region in northern Italy famous for its entrepreneurial legacy in the auto industry and only 100km away from Ferrari’s hometown of Maranello. It is here that all of Halmo's products are professionally designed and lovingly manufactured.

HOW IT'S MADE
The first layer of the image is printed directly to the transparent surface of a 5mm plexiglass.
A special white paint is then digitally applied behind the subject (in this case the car).
After the second layer of printing, the subject appears extremely clear and on top of the background, giving this 2 dimensional sculpture an elegant 3D appearance.
Each wall mounted Artwork includes engineered, metal spacers which enable the piece to protrude 25mm from the wall.
This resulting shadow enhances the unique floating effect.
Halmo is a project developed from the idea of young Italian designer Gianluca Tramonti who obviously has a big passion for anything on wheels.
Born in 1984, Gianluca's has lived his life in the automotive industry. At the age of 24 he studied in Milan, graduating in Architecture. He then moved to Venice to Master in Yacht design.
Having completed his masters, Gianluca worked for two years for a prestigious Yacht design company until 2012 when he moved to New York to further develop his skills.
Returning to Italy he started a career in classic car restoration and it was within this environment that his appreciation for form became the inspiration to create exciting, new artworks the whole world could own and enjoy.
Lead Times to Fulfill Your Order
90% of all products on our website are designed and manufactured by our small in-house team. We try to have stock of each product available for prompt despatch but if your order is for a special occasion, please do check stock availability and lead times with us first. This lead time may be longer at busy periods such as Christmas and Father's Day. On average it takes us 1-3 days to prepare a clothing order.
If you select ‘Standard Mail - Not Tracked’, as your chosen shipping method, we will be unable to track your order when it is in transit and provide you with only ‘Proof of Postage’. We highly recommend that if you are outside the UK and order a number of items, that you select ‘ Standard Mail - Tracked’ as a minimum. We want your order to get to you without delay, but we have found in the past that ’Standard Mail - Not Tracked (especially to USA, Brazil and Mexico) that there is a 20% likelihood that your order will not arrive.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
