Commemorating Ayrton Senna's first World Championship in the mighty McLaren MP4/4.
The McLaren MP4/4 was one of the most successful Formula One car designs of all time and competed in the 1988 Formula One season. It was created by engineer Steve Nichols, with assistance from the team's Technical Director Gordon Murray. Nichols and Murray based the design on the low-line Brabham BT55, designed by Murray for the 1986 season when Murray was chief designer at Brabham.
The Honda powered MP4/4 obliterated the opposition, winning all but one race and claiming all but one pole position. Statistically the car holds the record as the most dominant single season car with a winning percentage of 93.8%. The closest any car has come was in 2016 when the Mercedes F1 W07 Hybrid won 19 of 21 races (90.5%).
We also have a sumptuous Senna 'His Life in F1' print.
The Typographic design incorporates details of every race in which Senna competed, in chronological order. Each statistic includes: Race number, year, country, team car number, car model, which tyres the team were using, Senna's finishing position and even the reason for a DNF.
