Ahhh..Monaco and Martini. Those wonderful, aspirational Martini ads that hark back to a time when foreign travel seemed to be exclusive to the rich and glamorous, hence the term 'The Jet-Set'.

You might have been going to the Cinema in 1975 to watch Jaws, Rollerball or Monty Python and the Holy Grail. But whatever new film release you chose, more than likely would have seen this absolute classic piece of Cinema Advertising.

Martini Racing's association with Formula One began in 1972 with the Italian team Tecno. However, disagreements between Rossi and the team owners over technical and sporting directions, resulted in an uncompetitive car and Martini withdrew its support to the program after an unsuccessful 1972 and 1973 season.

Martini returned full-time in 1975, sponsoring Bernie Ecclestone's Brabham Team.

The initial colour scheme incorporated the Martini colours on a white background on the Gordon Murray designed, Cosworth powered Brabham BT44B in 1975. The Alfa Romeo flat-V12 powered Brabham BT45 and Brabham BT45B were used for the 1976 and 1977 seasons and the Martini colours appeared on a red rosso corsa background.

Drivers such as Carlos Reutemann, Carlos Pace, Hans-Joachim Stuck and John Watson all drove for the team during this time.

For the 1979 season, the Martini sponsorship moved to Team Lotus. In spite of having the 1978 championship winning Lotus 79 and Mario Andretti, Carlos Reutemann as drivers, the Martini Lotus association did not achieve a single win and by the end of the year, Martini withdrew from F1 once more.

After a long break from the category, the Italian company began sponsoring Scuderia Ferrari in 2006 with a minor presence. Williams Grand Prix EngineerIng Engineering announced a partnership with Martini beginning with the 2014 season and continued their sponsorship by Martini into the 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 seasons. This partnership ended after the 2018 season.

Lead Times to Fulfill Your Order

90% of all products on our website are designed and manufactured by our small in-house team. We try to have stock of each product available for prompt despatch but if your order is for a special occasion, please do check stock availability and lead times with us first. This lead time may be longer at busy periods such as Christmas and Father's Day. On average it takes us 1-3 days to prepare a clothing order.

Untracked Shipping

If you select ‘Standard Mail - Not Tracked’, as your chosen shipping method, we will be unable to track your order when it is in transit and provide you with only ‘Proof of Postage’. We highly recommend that if you are outside the UK and order a number of items, that you select ‘ Standard Mail - Tracked’ as a minimum. We want your order to get to you without delay, but we have found in the past that ’Standard Mail - Not Tracked (especially to USA, Brazil and Mexico) that there is a 20% likelihood that your order will not arrive.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.


We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
