Hesketh Racing Merchandise - The early days
After the team's debut at the 1973 Monaco GP and securing it's first point for 6th at the French, Hesketh Racing headed to its home circuit of Silverstone two weeks later for the British GP.
The team sported a T Shirt design that predated the Hesketh Bear Classic we would all come to love in 1974. We're not sure what this diagonal creation was all about, but more than likely penned in one of Towcester's pubs when the lads had some time off. It was clean, representative of early 70s graphic design and easily identifiable. A nice bit of RETRO.
Printed front and back in red, white and blue, we've recreated the original artwork from photographic evidence. Hesketh Racing are more famous for their exploits in 1974 with the Hesketh 308, but we thought it was also important to remember the March 731 days when Harvey Postlethwaite plied his considerable engineering skills to wring as much performance out the car as he could.
His efforts and Hunt's skill on the track were well rewarded that weekend with Hunt finishing 4th and only 3s from stepping onto the podium for the first time in the F1 championships.

Lead Times to Fulfill Your Order
90% of all products on our website are designed and manufactured by our production / fulfilment company and are created by DTG (Direct to Garment Printing). This means we do not carry stock and make each order individually for our customers. If your order is for a special occasion, please do check stock availability and lead times with us first. This lead time may be longer at busy periods such as Christmas and Father's Day. On average it takes us 3-5 days to prepare a clothing order.
Untracked Shipping
If you select ‘Standard Mail - Not Tracked’, as your chosen shipping method, we will be unable to track your order when it is in transit and provide you with only ‘Proof of Postage’. We highly recommend that if you are outside the UK and order a number of items, that you select ‘ Standard Mail - Tracked’ as a minimum. We want your order to get to you without delay, but we have found in the past that ’Standard Mail - Not Tracked (especially to USA, Brazil and Mexico) that there is a 20% likelihood that your order will not arrive.
Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the 'Complete Orders' link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
